Series II Postings Sapientia

These postings consist of messages in the Sapientia discussion list and are generally limited to 200 words each or less. Usually two postings a day are published and are blind-copied to members. The list is private and consists of personal friends and those I've met on the Net. Postings are characterised only by the name of the writer and his or her own town or city (or country). At the moment Sapientia has members from about a dozen countries. Sapientia was started in August 2005 with about 20 founders and one or two join each week. At the present time the list is about 100 strong. Members can get in touch with others, of course, and I will ask permission to release their e-mail addresses to one another.

Postings are sent to list embers each day and then posted onto this website. The name-only policy means that, if you join and write a posting, your e-mail address will not be purloined for other purposes. As well as one or two postings a "Daily Wisdom" item is e-mailed to members each day. This consists of a quotation taken from a dictionary of quotations (one dedicated to each day of the week) and opened at random. This feature will not, however, be uploaded onto this website -- where the postings will usually be concerned with current news topics.

You are welcome to join the list by making contact with me from the Home Page.
